A.J. Willoughby, a freshman second baseman from Chattahoochee Valley, has been named the ACCC Player of the Week for April 18-24.
The Cataula, GA native hit .471 for the week, helping the Pirates to a four-game sweep of Conference foe Wallace-Selma. Willoughby belted two home runs, including a grand slam, while adding 10 RBI's and scoring nine runs.
For the season, Willoughby is hitting .352 with six home runs and 45 RBI's, both of which rank third in the ACCC.
